Three organizations have put together a major report titled The Cost of Quality Out-of-School-Time Programs. This multiyear study providesan in-depth  analysis of the cost of quality programs that will validatethe need for a reasonable budget request by anyone wanting to provide quality afterschool and summer programs.  You can also go to theCOSTCALCULATOR to determine the cost for your program.

Governor’s Task Force Recommendations on Best Practices for After-school and Summer Programs beebe.jpg

On Tuesday August 19th the Governor’s task Force on Best Practices for After-School and Summer Programs presented its recommendations to Governor Mike Beebe during a luncheon held at the Governor’s Mansion.  Over 170 stakeholders from across the state attended the luncheon and heard a presentation of these findings and a request to help make these recommendations a reality during the 2009 legislative session.  Click Here
